We are Ana, Ruben and Ricardo, a family of travelers who visited Mazunte for the first time 16 years ago. Since then we have fallen in love with the beaches, the nature, the vibes and the people of this place.

 

3 years ago we had the opportunity to open our first beachfront hostel, a place with incredible views of the sea and very close to the party. After that first experience, we were presented with the opportunity to open a new place. We then took that opportunity and left the beach for a much calmer area, the moutain. The new, calmer, but still steps away from the party, Los Winchys hostel has been operating for a couple of months now, we are still in the process of finishing it and making it the absolute best rustic accomodation for you, but it does have the same good vibe: a hostel with the purpose of offering people the experience of living the most authentic Mazunte; a hippie place, surrounded by nature, where you can observe multicolored birds and opossums. Enjoy a quiet afternoon in the hammock or chat with the locals.

 

Our mission is that you feel at home, we want to share with you the way we live, our day to day life and you can feel like one of the locals with us. We are close and respectful of nature, a rustic place but no less cozy for that. At Los Winchys Hostel we try to offer you a space where you feel comfortable and you can also share your experience with us to create a community full of light.
